I'd be surprised if it wasn't totaled, but the main thing is you're ok. Go to the doc anyways just in case and make sure. Time for a GS perhaps (somebody already mentioned the F)?
looks weird thou, you were making a left turn but the car that pulled infront of you looks like it has damage on the passenger side? so it was trying to go around AND infront of you?
The guy was hurt badly since he took most of the impact. He was transported to the hospital but according to cop that about to deliver him the ticket he will be ok.
This is probably the end for me in this forum since most likely I will not get another toy such as the IS. I was suppose to originally buy a tacoma truck and then me and my wife walked across from Toyota to Lexus dealership to take a look see. We both feel in love with the IS350 on the show room display. I ended up buying the car on an impulse. Now, I'm back to the original plan and will probably end up getting a tacoma truck, I need a utility vehicle. To be sad for me, I still have the 2006 corvette as a toy.
Thanks for all the help and info you guys provided me....I found this site very informative.

Just to clarify, the other guy cut me off.
He was making the left turn and I was going straight.
wow, that guy must be a pretty big a-hole to just cut you off like that so recklessly.
Now he can have a body of pain and an increasing insurance bill to remind himself how not to be an a-hole in life. People like that pisses me off, on my way to work first some shuttle bus tried to pull into the highway merge ramp when I was accelerating to merge ( I was in the main ramp he was coming in on a secondary ramp with a yield sign), 10 mins later on the freeway someone was swerving in and out of traffic in a beat up accord and didn't check his blind spot so he forced me to swerve 2 lanes across while braking rapidly to avoid smashing into him
I was headed to work this morning and this guys just pulled right in front of me (we was trying to make a left turn). I did not even had the time to press the brake (I don't remember) and here is the result....
Very sorry to hear of your accident. Thank goodness you weren't injured. But give it a good 24-48 hours before determining that. Going to a doctor would be smart, even if just for insurance purposes later on. Have everything documented. The other guy's insurance might try to nickle and dime the case later down the road and you'll need all your guns loaded. I am currently going through this from a similar accident last January. It's a pain to prove everything, so take pics of scratches, bruises, bumps, etc.
Best part is you weren't hurt worse. Cars can always be replaced. Lastly, I wouldn't want the IS back after that either. They are never the same.
