it's a very subtle difference. It flows better with the lines of the rest of the kit, but to the naked untrained 2is eye, nobody will tell the difference.

It comes out a tad bit more on the sides than the stock skirts

They're SLIGHTLY different..the GFX ones stick out a tad more but they don't hang down any lower than the factory ones. They stick out to compliment the rest of the kit cause they kiiiiiiinda extend the body if you think about it..

They look really similar to me, I guess if you are going to get the entire kit then makes sense to get them, otherwise just get the lip and I'm sure it would look fine, might look slightly off if you got the rear as well and no sides but not sure.

just get the front lip. sideskirts and rear are a waste of money.

When it comes to the GFX kit, especially the sides, you have to think wider not lower.

I was battling with this for some time until I took my car in for service and saw for my own eye in person and compared side by side 2 IS's - one w/ and one w/o the GFX kit.

Depending on the view you see the GFX sides in pictures, they can be hard to distinguish from OEM. The GFX sides are most noticable from the front side view angle because of the added width. Hard to notice from side views.

Most just get the front lip and a rear deck spoiler. But if you get the rear bumper lip also, I would recommend the sides for a complete look.

now i'm beginning to understand.
Most probably i'm planning to get the front lip only since the rear lip
and the sideskirts doesnt seem to make much of a difference.

Here are a couple pics for comparison. The first pic doesn't have GFX sides but the second one does. As you can see at an angle it pinches out a tad more.

does the GFX sideskirts makes the car looks lower than the OEM sideskirts?

From what eric said up there, it doesn't hang any lower than the OEM side. It's just a tad wider that's it.

I'm really debating on getting the sides and rear too.

***I need to see more pics of the rear on a black IS***
