Default Bumper Repaint

So, the ISX50 curse struck me again. About two months ago, I hit the remnants of a blown out tire which punched a hole in the bottom grill of my front bumper as well as busting out my fog lamp. I was able to get insurance to cover it , but Saturday night, I was on the freeway and ran over something I didn't see while screwing with the Nav. Checked out the bumper when I got home, and the paint on the lower part next to the grill is all jacked up from whatever I hit.

My question is, do you think a body shop could repaint just that small portion of the bumper (it's about the size of a piece of copy paper) or would I need to get the entire bumper taken off and painted again?

For proper color matching, the bumper needs to be prepped and repainted and blended.

wht color is ur car? if u have the crystal white or any pearl white color, the repaint will not be exactly same as stock. there will always be a slight difference. learned that on mine... repainted twice... still a bit differnet.

The shop can probably paint blend the area and clear the whole bumper cover but it's not a big job to paint and clear the whole bumper cover.

i would recommend getting the entire bumper repainted. it will cost more but the paint will look much better. as far as just having the one spot repainted, over time you may even be able to see where the paint had been blended by the way the paint looks and feels. just go for the whole thing man, you wont regret it.

Yeah, I had a feeling I'd be better off doing a whole repaint, I guess I was just hoping I could get away with just doing the area that needed the paint.

Thanks for the feedback!
