^^ That is how I did mine also. The OP just test fit it to make sure it was all good. I never did that with mine and didnt have any issues. I actually had the MFG just paint it and ship it so I could slap it on when it hit my door. less time and work for me!

i would of done that but was afraid of during shippin the paint might get scratched up and when the lip actually came in im glad i didn't opt for it bein painted as i see scratches. i dont know the fedex guy just hates me. hopefully this week i will get it done been waiting for so long.

they should be all over ebay now but in polyurethane instead of fiberglass. My fiberglass held up for ten years but i also clear bra it after paint. Fiberglass and paint don’t hold up well on lips.

I ordered the fabulous replica from ebay and received the se tuned replica instead. But oh well. Rocking it anyways.

My cracked fiberglass Fabulous rep is sitting in my back yard was going to post it for free pick in FL if I ever get around to it. I'm sure someone with the time and skill can fix the fiberglass back to normal.
