Default How do you install a front lip?

I'm seriously considering buying a front lip (Carlsson) for my car but, i'm not sure how most people install them. So far people are telling me to use glue or super adhesive tape. Then my friend told me that I have to drill holes in order for the lip to fit right...does anyone know how to install a front lip? Thanks in advance.

I am quite sure that you would have to drill the OEM bumper for most applications... not sure about Fab.

I just ordered the TOM's front lip and I am wondering about the same thing (regarding the TOM's in my case )

There's already a DIY posted by Technique.

The factory instructions tell you to drill holes. However, as
Technique has done and my dealer also recommended, just use
the supplied adhesive tape. It works great and there is no need
to drill the holes. Besides, the holes are for brackets that are
held onto the lip by adhesive tape anyway. It would not be
any stonger with the bracket and holes. Just remove the brackets
that normaly stick through the holes.
