I am really glad to hear all the comments about the ventilated seats being weak or not that big of a deal. My seats with microfiber insert didn't come with them and I felt jipped Now, as for not having memory seats..

I don't feel it much either. But then again, I might have just gotten so used to it. I don't know, maybe it weakens over time... I have an 06 with 64K miles so its a little older now.

I also agree that the output is pretty weak. However I still think it makes a nice difference. And when I turn my AC on, the air coming out of the seat is also AC. I mean it's pretty noticeable to me... now I have to check to see if it could really be a placebo effect. I have an '06 btw.

The reason the air coming out of the seat feels colder when you turn the AC on , is because the seat is blowing out the colder air that's in the car as a result of the AC being turned on. Not because the seat has it's own AC.

You could always rig something up to scavenge some of the rear seat's A/C through the center/mid console. Someone did this already with some cardboard I think. Said it worked wonders! Insta-cooled seats with A/C!

I thought mine was pretty weak until I drove home from a friends house after a pool party. I still had my trunks on and they were still damp. I actually had to turn off the seat ventilation because it got too cold! It was much more noticeable wearing something wet. So the moral of the story is, drive around in wet pants and you'll love the seat ventilation!

LOL... no wet pants for me. I don't want to ruin the leather.

But the cardboard trick is nice to know. It reroutes the a/c from the feet setting to the seats to create real a/c cooled seats. But then... your feet are going to get hot now
