LOL No, I read mine too and always use this option. I figure for my $35g's, I outta know and use every single feature I can get my hands on.

yeah i know that audi and vw can but you need VagCom to program the ecu to do so..knowing that we can roll it down with the unlock button, no way to program the ecu to roll it up? i'd love that

I know the GS, ES and LS can close all the windows including sunroof when you hold the lock button for more than 3 seconds. I don't know why they did not do it with the IS...maybe because its an entry level car.

Amen, when people ask why do i use voice command to raise/lower the temp. When the button is like 2 inches away from me i just say "I paid 40 grand to have that feature, i minus well use it"

OMG! that is soooo cool. i love my lexus more. thanx for this wonderful info.
now is there a way that the car will start from the outside w/o remote start. lol
can anyone tell me how to find out more features on IS. other than the manual.

theres something wrong with my key.. coz sometimes when i wake up in the morning...all my windows are down!! and thats dangerous coz i dont live in a nice neighborhood!

Dude it happened to me a couple times too..luckily it was at night so you can't tell as much but STILL. I just assume that I accidently squished the key fob while it wasin my pocket and it dropped the windows..

where do you remove the plastic cover on the handle, im trying to remove it, its looks kinda stuck in there..

use your physical key and insert it into the slot underside of the cap.
