Can the stock wheels be chrome dipped? I was told, years ago, that you can only chrome dip a steel wheel. Can someone bring me up to date?

I kinda like the stock wheels but really want chrome. Yea, yea, I know it adds a ton of weight, but I'm not too concerned. Are there dipping companies out there? Any CL vendors?

 

Yes they can be. They can chrome a football if you wanted them too. It should add too much weight to affect anything though.

There us to be a LA wheels that you can trade in wheels for chrome ones for like $500. They use to be a CL vendor not sure if they still were or not. I saw some chrome spiders that they had.

your best bet is to do a "chrome exchange", you trade in your stocks for the same stocks that are already chromed, just make sure free of blems, the best thing is you dont have no downtime....i paid $1000, 5 for labor and 5 for wheels...took 3 days to get, 2 hours to do...got them the same week got my car...

The chrome dip would not last so much like stock chrome. For the money if you shop around I'm sure you can land on some nice 19'' or 20'' shoes.
