Default Another quick tire question.

Will 235/35/19 and 275/35/19 tires fit without rubbing for wheels that are 19x8.5 +35 and 19x9.5 +36? The drop would be on Tein CS pretty much on the lowest setting. Thanks in advance.

The front or the rear would rub? or both? What options of tire sizes do I have?
Thanks.

are you doing or have you done any fender mods??

rear will work if you roll the fenders....265/35 will give you more play. I run the same tires front to rear with no troubles with 1.6 drop front and 1.2 drop in rear. I can go lower in the front but I would bottom out where I live all over the place. I do not see any problems with your tire sizes....

Again... thanks for the help guys. I don't want to do any fender modding. Ok... so 235/30/19 or 225/35/19 in the front and 265/35/19 or 275/30/19 may work? or just be safe and go 225/35/19 front and 265/30/19 in the rear?

225/35/19 (f)
265/35/19 (r)

this is what I would do since you do not want to mod the fenders.

I have 235/35-19 front with no mods and I do not rub but I am only lowered 1.6" not sure how low you will go. I will find a pic for you. the rear I did roll the fender but 265/35 I would not have needed to roll. I only rubbed on big dips and bumps before I rolled the fenders on the 275/35 in the rear.

Ummmm I just wanted to add this here because I was doing some tire research myself and some other forum posted this link:

http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...?action=submit

I thought this would be the appropriate thread to put this in. Hope this helps someone.

thing is thou, if you firm up your coils you wont rub on big dips BUT~ you'll loose the lux ride, its a balance between looks n comfort... i prefer looks OF COURSE if you get Airrunner... then you'll have NO PROBLEMS what so ever

Big thanks to Passnu and llama. Seems like I'll be safe with getting 235/35/19 front and 265/35/19 rear. If Passnu was fine with 235/35/19 with +33 offset, I should be fine with the same width with +35 offset, but a bit lower. I'll just stiffen up the coils a bit more like llama said. Or should I just stretch a bit just to be on the safe side... decisions decisions

ok one thing about the 'big tire' vs 'vip stretch'... the vip stretch is just plain sexy BUT~ potholes/taking a curb at a wrong angle/parallel parking and scraping the curb WILL damage your rims... the big tires wont have that problem of rim damage BUT you can mess up your fenders/rub n blow a tire/everything with big tire depends on drop/offset/mod the fender or not...

its the balance for any type of 'look' other than stock that you need to be aware of and plan for it in advance. 'drop/offset/rim size/look you want' BEFORE you buy the tires/fender modding... its usually the smart way, but hey who wants to do things the 'smart' way anyway right? POUND UM, BROKE UM, FIX UM and POUND UM AGAIN
