Default Car got keyed, how much to fix?

My car just recently got keyed. Its about a 7 inch deep scratch on the door that went through the paint. Any suggestions on how much its going to cost to fix? Should I go to the lexus service center to get it fixed or just a normal body shop?

Get a couple quotes first, and make sure one of them is from a Lexus Body repair facility.

Then see what your deduct. is and whether or not to go though insurance.

Sorry to hear about that. My car was keyed after only owning it for a couple of months. It started on the front driver side panel and trailed all the way back to the rear driver side tail light. The cost to fix it was $1600. I just had to pay $500 and my insurance company paid for the rest.

it'll depend on where the scratch is located. also, a lot of dealers outsource their collision work to 3rd party bodyshops.

Any reputable body shop can do it.

Dang what's up with all these haters keying everyone's car lately? Sorry it happened to you. More than likely the damage will cost more than your deductable. Best bet is to get a couple of body shop quotes then proceed to go through your insurance.
