4300k is factory.

9006 is the size of the oem foglight bulbs. not color output. i beleive 2IS's that did not have oem HID's have an H11 socket.

It's a D4S bulb.

And the output is about 4300k.

haha...I am on the same page as you. My wife has an Acura and I couldn't stand the difference. I added HID Fogs from our vendor MOBILE HID you can PM him at Cliffud...I also have 6k HID bulbs to replace the OEM to give the look of the BMW/ACURA/AUDI....ect. If you just change the bulb you will loose light output but have the "look" that you may want. If you want more light and the look the HID fogs are well worth the $$.

hope that helps out.

i get jealous everytime i see a TSX car that their lights are much brighter than ours. especially bm's. so it means i have to buy a new HID kit? what bout my AFS would it get affected? i dont want my warranty to get void.

your welcome

No this is for the FOGS...here is a link to show you as I just did this myself...

You dont change anything but the buld for the OEM hid's....all that will give you is a "similar" color to the TSX and other cars but you will loose light output (how bright they light the road) I think our lights are weak to begin with let alone the color. So I am changing the OEM from 4300 to 6k and have 5k HID fogs....The addition of the HID fogs made me happy with more light output. The color will be what I like with the 6k later this week. I have the 6k on order from Xenon Depot another vendor of ours here and Steve is the contact.

here is that link:

Okay all you have to buy is bulbs and i will be getting some D4s soon from cliffud. I will have pics of if when it gets here. 6k is what you want if you want practical and color. 8k is for that purplish blue hue of color, the higher the K the more cooler the color are but not soo well in raining weather. The differences between our bulbs and TSX and BMW I also have a tsx the output is 4300k and its because of the projectors. You can do a retro fit of projectors but with HID bulb replacement save you some trouble. H11 bulbs are for people who dont have stock HID. AFS wont get affected in anyway if you change out the bulb. You dont need a kit unless you dont have HID.
