This was my first full tank of gas on the drive home from picking up my car...it was 100% highway (with the exception of driving one mile through the city to get to the highway)...filled it up with 15.002 gallons. Works out to 31.67 MPG...I was very happy to see that after driving a car that gave me 14 MPG for the last 7 years. Also, isn't the tank 17 gallons? So there was 2 gallons in reserve...I was pushing for 500 miles on the tank, but didn't want to risk it...at least now I know it would have been possible.

I just recently did a trip from Cedar Creek to Arlington, and Arlington down to Dallas on one tank. There is about 60 miles of city driving in there. That was driving between 70-80 mph mostly. I filled after I took this picture and filled up 15.53 gallons (let the pump stop on its own). That calculates to 29.36 mpg; pretty close to the indicator.
