Anyone else getting 400 miles a tank?
I have about a 35%/65% city/55mph backroad split to work. Around town I usually have my windows rolled down then when I hit the back roads I roll them up 80% to cut down on drag coefficient. I've been doing a lot of short drives lately since I moved and had to go to stores, run errands, etc so my mpg is back at 23.5 today, but if i didnt then I'd be at the 28 range. If I was going 75mph on a real highway then I'd definitely have my windows up and AC going.
I usually get around 360 miles to a full tank, and that is even with overfilling my tank lol. I never stop at the 'click' when filling up, I always try to put and extra $2 in lol.
This was my first time cracking the 400 mile barrier, I was so happy I had to take a picture...

I appreciate your concern. Sorry, I haven't had the time to reply. I commute approx 3 1/2 to 5 miles city with an average speed of 45mph. Then on the highway I travel approx 10 miles with an average speed of 60mph. I can't get over 300 miles. Perhaps, I'm refueling too soon?

if you try holding the nozzel and pushing back the rubber booty, you can watch the fill into the tank and usually get an additional 2-3 gallons. I have over 75k on my 2008 GS350 and i am averaging between 30.0 and 32.3mpg depending on which way i go home. Mostly freeway driving, (95-10), 80+mph with the air on. Car run very smooth. I just put on Michelin Pilot SUper Sports tires......245 x 40ZR x 18. I was concerned about mileage droppong becasue of the soft rubber, but so far have been pleasantly surprised. No real change in mileage.
Miniround, I feel your pain! My 2010 RX typically is only giving me about 279 miles to empty on average. Of course, that's all city driving. My '07 RX usually did better, and usually gave me about 300 miles to empty doing city driving. As far as highway driving, such as driving while on vacation, the highest the 2010 RX ever got was 350 miles to empty. If I remember correctly, the '07 RX got as high as 360 miles to empty on several highway trips, maybe even up to 370. Grrr!
I'm thinking of downsizing to either an IS250 or IS350. The only hang up with the IS, particularly here in Florida is finding one with the Luxury Package. I've gotta have that, 'cause my RX has all those goodies. Right now when I build an IS250 or 350 on the website, for the Florida area, you can only get the Luxury Package on an IS350 RWD or the convertible models. Frustrating!

Just to let you know, any further fuel you attempt to squeeze into your tank after the click just gets put back into the gas station. You are giving away free money at that point. So that's why even after you fill up past the click you only get 360 is because it isn't doing squat for you.
