Default Front Lip Scrapage

So...just came back from lunch..go up to park my car and I pulled up to the curb a little too close this time and scraped my front lip for the first time since I got my car (I have the x-pkg front lip btw)..

I'm a little pissed off at myself since I usually try soooo hard to avoid this. This is going to bother me for the rest of the day...but whaatever.

Damage isn't too bad....just a few scrapes on the bottom side. I knew this was going to happen someday, I just didn't think it'd be so soon!

Anyways, so I was wondering if all you other 2ISers regularly scrape your front lip when parking and don't even care anymore, or if you've managed to avoid doing it so far...???

I scraped my OEM front lip a week ago. I was turning into my school(very steep), and was going a little faster then i should have but i needed to do so to get into the parking lot before the car came.

Well the whole bottom is now scraped so gives me a better reason to go aftermarket

Fab lip or wald

I did this the 1st week I owned the car--and it became unclipped on one side so you could see a gap. Then, made it worse a few months later (made a little crack in the lip, not just a scrape).

Well--I drove into a high curb a few weeks ago swerving to avoid an oncoming car. $7500 in damage later, the lip is all better now...

Are you saying there's no gap between the front lip (X package) and those parking lot concrete bar? I thought there should be clearance if you didn't lowered the car.

Couldn't agree more on that *important note*

I scrape my lip about 4-5 times a day. But that's prob because I live in LA where they have ultra smooth and wonderful streets/driveways. But aslong as you can't see the scrapes... eh, who cares.
