I don't have the X Pkg, but I've learned that parking bumpers are NOT all the same height.

 

Easy fix.

Aftermarket lip or just lower your car enough so you can't see the bottom of your lip

 

I have the gfx lip and have not scraped it as of yet. I guess I had alot of practice with my other car....a mr2 turbo with stock 95 lipped lowered on h&r's. I haven't scraped that lip in 10 years.

 

after reading this a few days ago, i scraped mine BUT I had a clear bra on mine so it took some of the clear bra but didnt touch the paint.

 

I've never scraped with no aftermarket lip. Granted my car wasn't lowered but I have the sport pkg.

Now with the Tom's kit, I have scraped but all the damage is on the bottom so I don't care.

 

my lip is only scrapped on the very bottom so no one can see it.

 

Mine is scratched cause my dad goes pimpin' with the car on sundays.

Have you guys tried to sand down your driveway to avoid scrapping?

 

Just stumbled on to this post ,this post will solve most of your scraping. issues. Mostly the slow speed ones on the underside of your stock and after market ones.

i scratch everyday, doesnt bother me at all haha

 

I'm on my fourth front lip...

 

Whether u r stock, lowered, or slammed...your car is gonna scrape no matter what! My friends told me this even b4 I lowered my car & its true...the roads and driveways r all uneven so the best thing u can do is even out your drop! LOL!!! Or better yet get black to match the underside of all your scratches!!!
