Default Vaistech GB anytime soon??

For all modes we offer the best sound on the market, most functionality and highest compatibility, not only that we have the easiest to use interface.
So we are only about 2-3 weeks out on the new upgrade for 5th gen systems only (mp3) mode.
Here's what you'll get...

Playlist browsing
Artist browsing
Album browsing
Genre browsing
Audiobook browsing
Podcast browsing

again this is a feature that only people with 5th gen systems can take advantage of. Thanks for your patience and support.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call or post..

So the new Vaistech system will be pretty much identical to the OE kit from Lexus? Anything new on video for models such as the classic and iPhone?

What about those of us without nav? My IS350 has Mark Levinson, XM, but no nav. The Lexus interface looks good on non-nav systems from the pics in the thread interface wise, but I'm unwilling to give up XM to use it.

Default VAIS vs. LEXUS

For those of you wondering about the difference between the VAIS iPod adapter and the "factory" Lexus adapter which is actually made by Alpine Electronics, there are a lot of differences and reasons to choose one or the other. We do have a comparison guide for those of you walking that line. If you would like a copy of the comparison please email me at sales@vaistech.com and I'll shoot it off to you. The biggest differences are the most important ie: the sound, the display, and what you'll lose. We are offering this so you can make an informed decision and as always with our new features being added soon there is no reason why you wouldn't choose our adapter. There are quite a few questions so I will do my best to answer them in the next day or so. Thanks for your patience.

Default sound quality

the sound quality between the two unit is huge. If you were to install and listen to both the "factory" and our iPod adapter one after the other, the factory one would sound like FM radio where as ours sounds like CD or better.

We did a comparsion between VAIS and the Toyota unit and the sound quality was exactly the same, which makes sense, since they are both taking the line output of the Ipod and putting into the Line input of the radio, they is no difference in sound quality.

Would Vaistech be willing to setup a group buy here at Clublexus to promote its upcoming iPod kit with upgraded browsing?

i just installed the vaistech sl2i into my LS430 yesterday and i'm pretty damn happy with the sound quality and interface. if any of you are in the 626 area in socal, i would recommend going to "music box" located in el monte. tommy leung worked on mine and he did a wonderful job. here's his contact info (626)823-2853 if you're interested
