Try your Toyota dealership for programming the 2nd set of TPMS. Supposedly they're similar if not exactly the same sensors, and I bet same programming procedure/connector etc. I'm actually going to the local Toyota Dealership this weekend to program my 2nd set of TPMS, I called them and they said they can do it, I will report back this weekend. They're also installing my new moon cakes & tires.

So if you take off your original 17" wheels and put them away for summer and buy a new set of wheels and tires it is best to have the tpms put on at that time as long as your rims will except the tpms is that correct?
Do you need the complete tpm system or just 4 additional valve stem units to have programed into your existing oem unit?

Does tire rack have what I need?

Either it detects ur old sensors (if u have them in the garage) or thats the msg u get when it doesnt detect ur sensors.

Look up mooncakes on urbandictionary... Its a definition local to CL.

I think you can get the sensors from TR. Other places u can get them is from one of our sponsors Sewell Lexus or ebay.

So all I need are 4 compatible sensors then ,not another system?
I think I will have them through in the re-setting of my second set in my package deal since I haven't picked up or paid in full for it.
The ebay link would be great if you could post the right one $100.00 doesn't to bad. thanks everyone for the help.

I just did a search on Ebay and found someone selling a few sets for Lexus models. Type in TPMS for Lexus and see what comes up. No specific link or seller that i have.

I had new tires installed on Saturday. I have aftermaket wheels, but am using the stock sensors. When I purchase the new wheels, I had the original tires installed without any TPMS messages.

Driving to work today, I got the "Check System" message.

Since I have the sensors in the wheels, why the message?

OK so I figured out my own answer.

The parking garage I park in has some tight turns with close walls.

Leaving today I had the window down and could swear I heard something 'rattling around' so when I got home, I jacked up each corner and spun each wheel...LF has something rolling around inside the tire...my TPM Sensor I presume.

I have aftermarket wheels with the Sensors banded to the wheel barrel. Its kinda weird as I have had the wheels for some time..had the OE tires put back on them...and didn't have any problems. My guess is the installer nudged the sensor when installing the new tires..the sensor worked its way loose..and voila, the system lost its connection and gave the error message.

The installer will probably pay for the sensor..anybody know what a new one costs from Lexus?
