Bing Bing Bing
Has anyone been able to disable the constant beeping noise when:
- You turn off the engine
- Open the driver door
Thanks.

I can't stand that either. Probably requires removing the analogue guage cluster and disconecting the small chime speaker.

I was thinking that also, but sometimes there is just a relay under the dash that can be jumped to do the same thing without taking the car apart. Hopefully the forum will come up with something....

yes it's annoying, but it shouldn't happen as long as you turn off the engine
before opening the door.

Thats right... Turn off engine then open door... NO BEEP...
Now if you have to do it the other way around for some reason..
Take your left index finger a tap/push on the door switch in the door jamb on the b-pillar.. (above Vin plate area)... it stops beeping...

+1 likewise. Or just shut the door and reopen. It will stop beeping
