Default Help with a MTEC kit!!!

So i was helping a CL member install a mtec kit tonight. It was weird because we couldn't make it work. Can someone post pictures of how they installed it? We tried every way switching bulbs with different ballasts. And everything possible, we failed. This is not for me, but i want to know what i did wrong.

If I remember correctly, the MTEC kit connects directly to your OEM headlight plugs. Often times the power/ground coming from the OEM headlight plugs are not powerful enough to allow the ballast to step up the power needed to ignite the bulbs.

You most likely need a harness like this:

No, fuse is not blown because i tried using one of my own HID kits that only had one ballast and it worked. Signal.. can you take pictures of your mtec? We spent 2 hrs trying to get it to work. I installed other kits in less than 30 mins but i think his HID kit is defective.

Switch the positive with the negative around to see if thats the problem. Some of these HID kits are like that, mainly the cheaper ones.

We did switch everything around. Switched the bulbs, the ballasts, switched sides and still didn't work. ANd it is an Mtec and mtec are pretty expensive.

Mtec are a pretty good kit but from experience i find the xeondepot ones to be a littel more consistant and better built. But good luck with the kit trying to make it work, if you checked the fuse i dont know what it is without looking at it.
