I'm actually planning to build a motorized radar detector into it. They're illegal in most provinces in Canada, so I'm going to fabricate one that goes up and down. Alberta (the promised land) is one of the only provinces where they're allowed, but I like to ski in BC, and I have some time on my hands

As mentioned earlier, excellent place to hide an air freshener. I'll do that when my new car smell goes away

I'm going to put an air freshener in there. I did ask my alarm shop to put a center channel speaker in there, but they were too lazy about it.( they are my friends) so I can call them that.

just did this! works great. i put a plastic cup in it and it closes fine. just be careful when you are lifting up the plastic piece, make sure you dont snag a chunk of your dash and rip a piece off like i did on accident. the dash is made of a soft spongy plastic material and it rips easily.

This is very cool! Thanks for sharing. If only the compartment is a little bigger for a small piece of defensive equipment.
