Need help fast "pricing on is250" please help
Ok i have been looking for an is250 the last couple of months, the dealership called me today and asked me what i was waiting on. I told them i did not know what i wanted to do with my current car "acura rsx type-s" 62,000 miles. i told them i needed at least 13,500 if i was going to trade and they said ok but they want me to come down and buy tomarrow because the salesman needs one more car this month.
need to know what i should offer to pay for an
is250 rwd with HID, premium pkg, 18" wheels and rear spoiler
what about 32,000 or should i go lower or higher??? i have now idea what i should be asking and everyone on here seems to have is 350's from the searches i've done.

Check the invoice price on the car you want, take off $13,500 and offer them that amount (plus tax, title, license). That's the rock bottom price which they probably won't go for. Negotiate up from there, or walk.
There is no factory to dealer incentive now, as far as I know, so if they go lower than invoice they are dipping into the hold back. I think they could go a bit lower, to be honest. Is that a good price for your Acura or they getting you on both ends of this? I'll assume automatic since you didn't specify.

Well, my car seems to be selling for around 15,000 to 16,000 at all the local places i have looked. so they should be able to make an easy profitt i am also leaving about a 3,000 dollar audio system in it because im to lazy to take it out, they don't even know its in there so that will help them in the sale of the car.
ask the dealer that, beside of the Tax and Tag, is there any other dealer fee, if no, throw them the print out from KBB that show the invoice price and ask them to give the car to you at that price+Tax and Tag. If they said yes that they have a dealer fee, then you need to find out how much. You don't want them to agree your invoice price and then add a big dealer fee on top of it. Same thing with your trade in, go to KBB and check the value, if it is lower than 13,500, then don't show it to them, since they promised you this value already. If KBB show higher than 13,500, tell them this is the value and ask them to give it to you. If the salesman need one more car to make the monthly goal. I think he is willing to cut a lot of this commission to make the deal. Good Luck, and let us know how it goes.
But that's a long fight with them, back and forward like 5 hours. But I got my car about $200 above the invoice.
