Default Hybrid Navi DVD

I don't know if this question has been answered here before but I could not find any threads about this.

Is it possible to make a hybrid Navi disk that would have the override capability (enter destinations while moving) of the v5.1 disk and no "I agree" confirmation of the v7.1 disk? I don't particularly care about the updated map data, I'm just tired of pressing the "I agree" button but I also want to be able to enter destinations while moving.

If you're referring to this thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=251179
it talks about how to make a V5.1/V6.1 hybrid.

What I'm looking for is a V5.1/V7.1 hybrid. Possible?

Default Hybrid disk fails..how do I eject it?

I made a hybrid disk for my 2008 IS350. I got the Screen with the japanese characters, but it never loaded. How do I eject the disk if I can't get the "Menu" button to work without the firmware loaded? If there a hard eject method?

You are mistaken. What Technique and others have done is to combine the 2006 software (w/override function) with newer (2007 or later) digital maps. This is possible because the software image and the maps are in different files on the DVD.

What oblivionis wants to do is to combine features from both the 2006 software (override function) and the 2008 software (no need to press "I agree"). This is an entirely different and more challenging problem, that as far as I know, has not been solved.

I just tried a 5.1/7.1 Hybrid DVD this morning, I only replaced the LOADING.KWI file, and it won't read the map data. I love the 5.1 override, I use it all the time, guess I'm going to have to stick with the old maps.

yup you have to live with one or the other, override the "i agree" or the dest while driving. Can't have both, sux!

an alternative would be to get the viastech ipod integration. i have it in my 07, and there is a function on it that automatically pushes the "i agree" button for you. its about $200 and very easy to install yourself. plus, its a great way to integrate your ipod and sounds amazing.
