Is there anyone with a 4th Gen Nav that has successfully burned a hybrid dvd?

I have tried to make an 8.1/5.1 and a 8.1/4.2 and both behave the same.

when i burn the hybrid, it's recognized by the system, i can access the service menu, the map appears, i can perform the override trick, but i cant enter any addresses. The address and destination buttons appear and look active but don't advance to the input screen (neither in motion or at rest).

I tried other service areas and maybe this is a hint, but I CAN use the destination buttons in US8 , but no other areas work.

If anyone can help get this to work in US9, (and other areas), please post or PM me, Thanks.

 

Doesn't help you any other than to know you aren't alone. I have not been able to successfully burn a Gen 4 hybrid beyond a 6.1 / 5.1 combo. i burned a pure backup copy of my latest dvd and it works fine so my burner and blank media aren't the issue. Have read other posts where members were successful so maybe someone can help you. I gave up and bought the unlock kit from Prestigious.

 

just get the datasystem navi/tv override and call it a day

well i guess 6.1 is better than 4.2, so if anyone has a GEN 4 6.1 disc, shoot me a PM with a price. thanks
