Default TPMS Question

Just wanted to check on whether or not the TPMS system is viewable on a set of rims with tires on? I thought this device was quite large and would be easily viewable.

Just wanted to to check that my summer tires/rims from dealer had the TPMS.

Regards,
Kayo

How small is the sensor? Is it actually visible? I think they sell for like $125 each?

THanks

They are not visible they lie inside the tire on the other end of the valve stem. The only way you can see them is to take the tire off. At any which rate why would you want to see them? you would only need to see them to get the code off the back.

I wanted to see to verify that the dealer had included them as it was part of the purchase price of the tire/rim set. I believe they charge a fair bit for each one?

I just assumed from the pictures of the TPMS it would be easily viewable. So upon receiving my new IS350 I checked the summers and didn't see them on there so thought the dealer may have overlooked including. Look like they must be there though! THanks everybody :-)

if you do not have a light on your dash they are on your car. There is no way to bypass the warning light so dont' worry you have them installed if you don't have a light showing..
