Default Does the base IS have memory seats?

I know this is a dumb question, and it's too late for me because my special order IS350 will be here in three weeks, but does the base IS have memory seats???

If not, what is the option code? The PT Premium Plus package just mentions "heated and ventilated" seats, so I guess that doesn't have it. Only the LL and LT pacakaes even mention it. Is there a separate option code for JUST memory seats?

Does the base car at least have electric seat adjustment, or is it the old fashioned mechanical levers?

What about without the heated/ventilated seats? Does the base model still have electric contorls? Anyone know?

Memory seats are part of the Luxury and Sport packages, and are not available separately.

Heated and ventilated seats are part of the premium, luxury and sport packages, and not available separately.

Power seats are a standard feature, included on the base model.

I'm actually coming out of a TL to get the 350. We got spoiled by the 2 memory settings on the TL. So now there's going to be a lot of those "Who moved the mirrors!?" arguments again.

The ones in the IS have 3 memory settings, and can be tied to the key fob so that you don't even have to push the memory button -- it recognizes who is driving the car by the key fob in their pocket or purse.

No, he's right, the original poster is in the US, where power seats are a standard feature. You are in Canada, where Lexus offers slightly different option packaging.

I always wondered, what happens if you do the tie-fob-to-memory thing and then two different fobs are in the car?

My wife and I each have a fob on us generally.

I haven't done the tie-fob-to-settings thing yet so I don't know what it does but I don't think it's smart enough to know which fob is on the driver vs. passenger...

You program Fob 1 to, say, driver's seat memory position 1, and Fob 2 to position 2 (you can mix and match, of course). When you unlock the car (either grab the handle or use the Fob button), if the seat/mirrors/steering wheel have moved from your memory position, it sets them back. So when my wife moves the seat all the way up, next time I unlock the car with my remote, the seat moves back to my memory position.

It's the key reason I insisted on the Luxury Pkg. even though some dealers wanted to talk me out of it because it's hard to find.

I have an IS w/ navigation and it STILL doesn't have memory seats. lol

Like the others have said, you have to upgrade to one of the packages.
