well i guess i should amend my post, a friend of mine suggested that it might just be the gasket on the aftermarket bulbs that are making it impossible to install and that i should switch the ones from my halogen bulbs to the xenons.

Tried that and it worked fine

Definitely makes it easier to plug the things in, the gaskets on the volt bulbs are almost twice as large as the ones on the stock halogens.

4300k for the most light output.

6000k for the best intensity/color combo.

8000k for a really nice color.

I searched CL regarding this issue and came up with this thread... its pretty sad that xenondepot is still having the same problems even after 2 years.

Had i known of the possibility of this I would have spend a bit more and gotten the xtreme kit.

I guess il go to a shop and see if they will modify the ring for me and install the kit hopefully for a reasonable price.
oh thats why it was revived... lol...

Well i think i can help... This is just a try. Lol i think the problem with the fitment is because the ring is to big with the volt bulb. What you can do is take out the ring and replace it with the stock ring from your stock bulb. i believe this should work. Hope this helps
