hi guys,

what do you think of the 8000k hid bulb from garax? does it seem like the color output is too blue - im talking cheap blue color, like a ricer color...i want some OEM HID replacement and im looking for a nice pair.

 

6000k is the highest I'd go

 

yeah I was thinking that too. its just the ones i had before was 8000k and gave off a nice blue color, not cheap like garax and it was 8000k but i might make the switch to 6000k...here sre some pics -mine is the black shiny black one next to the white (white GS is my gf's).

 

I thought Garax was a good brand Japanese bulb? so wouldnt the colour be a nicer white blue?

 

Yeah I thought so too but i installed it the other day and it make the GS look cheap so I had to put OEM bulbs back in. maybe i got a bad pair.

i got them off ebay..

 

those are 6500k bulbs just warming up thats why you see a hint of like teal..but once it warms out you see bluish white.

not to mention camera plays tricks on colors

i like my 6000k .. any higher is just too dim for my taste

 

Wow i like your lights, whlkev. Are those 6000k for low beam and fog? garax?

 

My 6000k Garax bulbs just arrived today from FedEx. Can't wait to see the diff from stock bulbs
