Default NAV-TV sound ISSUE

OK, so i bought the NAV-TV module for my non-ML nav screen like back in the spring or something and we hooked it up and I have no problem with the display but I do have this small problem with the sound. I have went through the forum, printed out wiring schematics and everything and the closest I have gotten was when it was hooked up, it cut the sound down by a lot. It wouldnt matter if it was the movie playing or on cd, the sound would suffer from it, so I have unhooked it, and had it unhooked for a while now, but I read somewhere that if you go through the aux port in the center console, then that should work... Well we tested it and the sound does work through the aux port, but it works like something is plugged into the aux port. The mode goes like this: you hit cd button and it plays the cd, if you hit cd button twice, the NAV-TV piece fools it into thinking that there is a stock dvd changer and then if you hit it three times and it goes into aux mode. The problem is, I have picture on the dvd changer mode and then sound on the aux mode. Does anybody know how I can get sound on the dvd changer mode?? Any of yall's help would be greatly appreciated!! thanks a lot!!

i have NavTV and there is not any problems. For the sound, i followed exactly as instructed in the manual. I've had this module installed for over a year now and it works perfectly.

well the NavTV module just allows you to have RCA Inputs (Audio/Video) to the Nav screen.

Once you have Audio/Video inputs, you can virtually hook anything up. DVD Player, Changer, Ipod, Game console... etc.

yeah, i read all your posts about it and tried to PM you under your tundra name but never got a response, the instruction sheet is a little vague as to which wire to hook to for the sound, so im just a little confused on that part, any way you can help me out on which wires to tap into for the audio rca cables?? thanks a lot
