I find our visor "dot matrix" not too effective against blocking the sun. Anyone knows of a pre-cut tint solution?

Shouldn't cost much to tint the top of your windshield.

I tried to get it done but the tinter said it can't be done because of the sensor on the rear view mirror. Sound's like BS but I didn't want to argue with him because why would he deny business, right?

On my last car though, it cost like $10-$20 to get the front visor tint installed.

i paid $40 for it. Makes a huge difference. I haven't had to use my visors ever since getting the front window brow.

In CA, I believe the law is that it can go as far down as the visor itself.

Also, is it just me or does that the visor pretty much obscures the view of the windshield when used? Like half of the windshield is pretty much covered.

when you tint the front window, ask the tint guy to put elmer's glue stick on top of the dot matrix patteren... it will get rid of all the air gaps between the dots. if you look at the pics of the tint above, you will see the dot matrix looks 'lighter' than the tint, because of those air bubbles.
