Default Picture Request : OEM HID

I know this is a silly question but

Can you actually see if you have HID by opening up the hood? W/O turning the headlights on and hearing the buzz that every1 has. Where is the OEM ballast in the IS350? Also, any other PHYSICAL appearance/clue that you can see by opening up the engine cover/hood?? Thanks guys!

i don't think you can tell right off the bat just by opening the hood. the oem ballast is located underneath the headlight housing. here's a pic of where it is... you can see the yellow warning sticker near the top right of the pic.

You can also tell that you have hids if you have AFS. Do your headlights turn when you turn your steering wheel? If so, then you have hids.
