Has anyone used this is their 2IS?
Im considering getting one, just cause it looks kinda cool. But if it isnt accurate then I wont bother.
or if anyone has a G Tech.. how is that working for you?

I have the GT2, ran a 13.7 with it. Seems acurate enough. Ran a 13.63 in the S55 with 5 people in it.
11 Second Club
I had a GT2 and went drag racing. It was actually very accurate - about .1 second or greater accuracy for the 1/4. During street starts, I had 0-60's from 5.1 to 5.6 seconds (depending on how much fuel, how HOT it was, etc.) I used to use it to see how fast I could carve certain turns. Anything over .8 G's started to make the car a little unstable. Anyways, I drove like an idiot watching the lateral G's and stuff so I gave it away to some kid who was into that kind of stuff.
if i took it out of my IS and put it in a different car, it would work in that on one too right? Also how does it work the timing.. does the clock just start as soon as you take off?
It'll work on any car, it's not married to the first car you use it on like many tuners are. You simply mount it to your windshield and get it as level as possible, plug it in, hit the start button, it'll take a few seconds for it to calibrate itself, once it's ready you take off and keep going until it beeps, that's when your 1/4 mile is over. The timer will start at the slightest movement so be sure you are in position to launch before pressing the button.
