Default Losing Power

My IS350 has definitely lost power. I thought that it was bad gas, but now that I'm running a new tank, the car is still sluggish. Both myself and my g/f have a noticed it when we're at speed and want to pass somebody or just gun it. Any advice....has anybody else noticed this? FWIW, my car is a 2006 with about 14K on the odometer.

Have you tried getting the ECU reset?

Is it the throttle response or the transmission?

Some people have said the ECU learns your driving style in the first 1,000 miles only. However, I don't think that's true. My 250 has always felt pretty peppy to me. But about a month ago I got really sick and I was driving slower. When I started feeling better I began accelerating faster again, but my car felt sluggish. It took a few days, but I can feel the power has returned to my car. By the way, I drive with power mode turned off as the car usually feels like it's in power mode already, shifting at about 3,500-4,000 rpm. When I was sick it was shifting around 2,500-3,000 rpm.

Turn on power mode and see if it makes the throttle reacts quicker. If it does, it's because the ecu got accustomed to your normal driving behavior.

We always leave the power button on (it feels more responsive to me at low speeds and RPM with the power button on). It has been living at the airport lately and has only been driven to/from the airport for the last month or two, so I'll try resetting the ECU.
