Newbie here. Hello everyone!
Just want to say i'm glad i have found this forum. I got a 06 IS350 with 18" Lexus G-Spider rims, and now i'm about to do some mods to my car. Wasn't sure what to get first, but after reading through several posts.... I have decided to start with a KNN Typhoon Short ram Intake, and Tanabe Madallion Exhaust for now. What do you guys think? Any advices will be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I do aesthetic mods before engine mods. The two you describe really don't provide significant improvements in performance; they do, but not significantly.
You've got great power right now with the stock 350 engine. Enhance that power with better handling, so I would start with better tires and wheels, and suspension mods.

The return you'll get from intake + exhaust really isnt worth the money, if you want 'sound' then yes but if your looking for a 'power up' then no. Springs will give you a more visual impact right off the bat. My vote would be for eibachs.

hope you got ur red-out vinyl first...that's everybody first mod. LOL
now once you're done with those two mods, make another list of other mod....i needa do that myself too. but first, i need to find $$$ somewhere.

Phillip: thanks for replying so fast! I kinda like the rims i have now. So what kind of tires do you suggest? Yokohoma?

please do the red-out.....dont think about it...just do it.
some people order them from rvinyl or aerotect.
i bought mine from rvinyl.
trust me...that red-out alone will make the rear end a lot more attractive. no need of the orange stuff.
And it's a cheap mod.

You'll need to make a proper sig, details of your car such as paint color n stuffs, thing is alot of us with white cars dont do redouts while those with darker cars do. Then there are the cheeper mods like lites which at nite will make a nice visual impact and separate you from the heard.

License plate frame!! Usually overlooked, with most people going naked, or using one of the cheapie ones provided by the dealer. (Hell no, to free advertising
