Default HID dead?

Hmm... just noticed that the passenger side HID flickered a little and then suddenly changed to blue (I had 6k hids) and they're noticeably weaker... I did a search and only found that people had their turn green... Does this mean I have a dying bulb, a dying ballast, or a loose connection somewhere? They were fine for about 1.5 yrs....

i think any immediate change to a bulbs color after 1.5 years of running with em would indicate some sort of problem. im no pro, so maybe wait for someone else to reply to your question, but id recommend calling your dealerships service center and ask.

Huh... Id say try replacing that bulb with a new and see what it does. That should tell you whether or not the issue is the bulb or something worse.

Just changed the bulbs today and it worked. I always thought the bulbs would turn pink or green before dying? Ben_r you on SD.net? I think I've seen you post a couple times.
