Why are my hid headlights trippin out?

Why are my hid headlights trippin out?
My passenger side lights work for a moment, but after a few minutes it turns off. once you turn the lights off then off, it works again... but only momentarily. Help?

EXACTLY! I had the same thing happen to me and logic said it was the ballast but it wound up only being the bulb itself.
OP - Replace them and you should be good to go.

That long brown thing was cracked. and DAMN, for 1 bulb will break your bank 
... are thre any cheaper places for the d2r's?

Check Ebay if you're looking for Phillips, or you can get d2r's from one of CL's HID vendors as well. If you don't mind used and are looking to save cash, I've got the Phillips 4300k bulbs I took out of my GS you can have for $50 shipped. PM me if you're interested.
