Default FEEDBACK pls.

Heres the deal; im trying to change my exhaust tips and LEXUS here in the UAE decide they want to weld on the oem tips to the inlet pipe of the muffler. To remove ithe tips at an exhaust shop is gonna cost me between 200-300 dollars.
Ok so Since we have warranties on the parts and if i change my exhaust i lose the warranty on that part, it seems logical that it is wtihin my rights to get lexus to cut the welds so the Tips can be removed, right? Or atleast get them to pay for it if they dont have capabilites for that. Im saying this based on the lexus parts bumper and exhaust installation guide
http://www.lexus-parts.com/IS_08158-53830.pdf
that says that the exhaust tips are clipped on

im pretty heated because they made something that should have a simple byt very effective visual upgrade into a royal pain in the *** that will be costly. wat do u guys think?

bloody aggravating

depending if the tips you put on need to be welded, you should be able to just cut the outlet (with the OEM tips) at the muffler. I havent seen any that are not welded on our cars...

What do you have for tips? It would help figuring out the best solution.
