Ive seen a post saying it works fine but I cant seem to find it
Im asking because where I live it snows a couple time a year

i moved from VA to chicago and the little snow that you get there wouldnt justify a AWD car. the whole state shuts down if it snows that bad anyway. you can put on snow tires or even an all season for the winter months and be just fine.

good luck!

+1, lived in MD for 4 years and I would never have considered compromising power for AWD. You'll be kicking yourself every single day if you do.

You cannot drive with the summer tires in the snow whatsoever, do not try it would be dangerous. However, with good snow tires, the IS350 does surprisingly well. As well as a front wheel drive car with all seasons for accelerating and actually better than that same FWD car when stopping.

I have. I wouldn't recommend it, but it can be done.
