Default Memory Seats

My passenger memory positions seem to get erased by themselves. I haven't unplugged the battery or anything... what could be causing it?

are you sure your setting the memory and then trying to recall it while in park?

You know, my car has done that too.

Driver side memory is intact, but passenger side memory disappeared one day for no apparent cause or reason.

Or perhaps a passenger of mine secretly messed with it and didn't tell me...

I think mine is just plain faulty... I know nobody has messed around with them. Plus I had all 3 set and they were all erased both times.

Oh well, I'll add it to the list of little things that needs fixing on my IS.

check your manual, its in there.....

something about pressing just the 'set' button for more than 3 or 5 seconds will erase all memory

i'm actually getting the same thing, passenger side keeps on getting erased. i dont believe it has anything to do with pressing 'set' for more than a few seconds. thought i was the only one having this issue.

Ah, ha! Obviously, it's a virus in this post that's causing it, because mine was just fine until I read this, and checked it. Now, it's messed up.
