Wow, thats funny to hear people say they think the stock HIDs arent that bright. I thought they were the brightest headlights I have ever driven behind....

i don't think the op from that thread u linked had oem hid's to begin with. he just had regular halogen bulbs.

from the pics that were posted, they looked like hid's to me also. but then looking at the install process it looks like halogen bulbs.

This is why I hate pictures when it has to do with HID lights, the colors never come out right or even close IMO
