So today I took the whip to Lexus to have the brakes replaced with new pads, have them do the Aux filter, and look at my sunroof. They did the brakes with no problems, ordered the Aux filther part, and decided they want to replace my sunroof....well the track and motor. The sunroof was making a weird squeal, kindof like two peices of metal rubbing together. I think it just needed oiling, but they said they are going to replace it. So, wow, go ahead I said. Also found out my damn front tires were worn all the way to the cords on the inside of tires. Had to order some new ones. SUCKS. Just got the car last week and the tires were hiding their true colors from me...ha ha..jokes on me.

Changing out the sunroof isnt all that difficult is it. I am a little worried about them doing a whole bunch of altering to replace the sunroof if it is not needed. Or am I being gay?

Sounds like you have an alignment issue....

Regarding the sunroof, here is a smoking deal on a new one. You can even transfer it from car to car.

Read the Q&A's....

yeah i am sure there is an alignment issue, when you lower the car it effects the camber. the front tires are effected more from turning and all that. i was under the impression that the camber cannot be adjusted until they come out with something for the IS. I wish or hope there is something i can do to fix it besides raising it back to stock heigth.

You should get the alignment checked.

Replacing a sunroof isn't a big deal, pull the door sill trim, drop the headliner, and replace.
