Question Engine Cover Button Fasteners....?

I thought I posted this earlier, but for some reason, it just dissapeared....who knows. I was wondering if there are any button fastners for the engine covers on the IS. The stock ones suck. The ones that came with my used 350 suck because you have to RIP them in and out. I use ones on my bike that you push a little button in the center of the fastener and it just pops out....what are you guys using to keep you engine covers on.....do you know of any removable ones...

thanks,
jason

If you bought it used...they could have already been changed..the originals have a push button and seem to work fine..just gotta make sure you pop it up all the way before reinstalling or you may break them

After getting no help from the local Lexus Dealers I spent some time at the Toyota dealer.

Toyota makes a similar but far stronger fastener for the RAV-4:

Part Number 90467-07195

You have to snap off a couple of tabs but these have worked much better for me.
