I've been having a pulling issue with my vehicle for almost a year now, since day 1. I've been reading a lot on this forum about the issue, and found that most members had their tires changed to correct the problem. My local dealership just will not cooperate and won't change my tires, despite telling them about other members and how they had the problem fixed.
The dealership tells me that my pull to left and right is due to Electronic Steering, and that I always have to correct the pull by turning the wheel left or right to compensate. I think this is all bull crap! They told me that its just a normal "characteristic" of the car.
My vehicle pulls a lot more to the right than the left. I'm convinced that its a tire issue. I've called corporate and they always refer me back to the dealership. I'm at a dead end. Any suggestions?
Yeah I have a similar problem but mines pulls when accelerating or braking sometimes. I told the dealership and they said its because of the low profile tires and how it follows the road. I was like ok whatever since I was already more than half way through my tire life.
many people had their dunlops replaced with bridgestones and the pulling disappeared, when they did an alignment did they use a road force balancer, those can detect problems a normal alignment and tire balancing cant find

Thanks guys/gals!
You are right, they are just giving you an excuse, and a lame one at that. There is a detailed TSIB for determining root cause of pulling on the Lexus techinformation website. The number is ST004-01. This is the troubleshooting tree provided by Lexus:
I've outlined in blue what the path for an ISx50 should be. You should be at the contact regional office point, since the dealership is clueless about what the real cause is. The TSIB goes into great detail describing potential culprits, and if the wheel alignment is good (and no doubt, by now it's either right or totally screwed up), then the tires are the problem. Of course the obvious question is, did they check the tires for pressure, roundness, balance, etc...if they didn't they just aren't very thorough and aren't using the technical resources available to them through Lexus/Toyota.
Finally - as posted above - many people got their tires (typically Dunlops) replaced under warranty for this problem.
