As long as you are okay man... that's the most important thing.

Money can buy another car... but it can't buy another life.

IMO, Dont say anything that will admit fault. You never know who will send what to the insurance company

I dunno. It seems like he already explained it. He lost control of the car, flipped it 3 times, sprinkler level water may be involved.... The facts are there. Sounds like excessive speed all the way.

I know we're piling on, but I'm really talking about all the accidents and crazy tickets I've seen on this forum in my 7 months here. We get a totaled car like once a month posted, we get guys driving 83 in 45 zones, and another guy asking about the 100 MPH red ring and radar detectors in 2 different posts this week. And of course the DVD movie while driving is always a popular request...

To me, the most important thing about these accident posts is not that he was ok and unhurt. The most important thing is that he hopefully learns from this and changes his driving, because if he doesn't, and ends up hurting other people, then that is just unforgivable.

100% Agree'd, first reply to actually help future accidents from reoccurring because of ignorance and help immature drivers wake up. Well said.

Agree totally.....

I just got in from work, and I hate driving at 3AM. It's amazing how many accidents happen in the wee hours compared to the lower number of cars on the road.

If you don't count the ones caused by drinking, drugs, speed, falling asleep, and oh yeah sprinklers, the only ones left would be the cars these people hit.

The OP is very lucky to still be with us. Hopefully he has learned something and so have many reading this thread.

jonjon83, 50? yea i can see it, weight of the car/momentum/the physics... yea. Don't sweat it, just be happy your alive, your whole outlook on life will now change, mine did thou not cuz of a car accident, waimea bay bodysurfing on a 15' foot day (old measuring means 30' face) then huge 45' face waves started commin in, held me down at the bottom and as soon as i came up, exhale and BOOM another and im back at the bottom...over n over... yea your whole outlook on whats important and whats not will change...

For you ppl saying stuff like, 'tell your story so others will learn...' who are you kidding? ROFL, if ppl learned from others mistakes you think the world would be as fk'd up as it is??? You guys know as well as i do that, 'oh i dont have to worry this wont happen to me...' chaa right, you guys crack me up.

*edit* i ment that part about ppl talking about speeding n stuff

oh man .. glad you were able to walk away unharmed and without a single blood drop.

i myself had an accident like that while i was offroading with a 4x4. there were 5 in the car with me and thank god no one was badly injured.

i guess your thinking now what are the really important things in life that you didn't pay attention before.that accident should wake you up.

and yeah it's unbeleivable what water could do to a car, forget the VDIM,TRC
those will help but not too much ... it's water in a speeding rubber, that must do something.

Very glad you survived to tell your story.
Upon reading the entirety of this thread, I saw "...hope you've learned your lesson" expressed many times throughout it.
One of the most important lessons to be learned here is to not prejudge the situation until all the facts are known.
The same sort of accident could have happened to anyone of us. We SHOULD be here to support each other at these times, not lay blame with little or no facts to support it. Sheeeesh!
