Stock should be 4300k. I think it would be hard to perfectly match stock and aftermarket. My HIDs are both the same brand so they match perfect. If I were you I would get 4300k or something close to it.

My buddy's IS he took it to a shop they put it on a lift and they found a little compartment in the bottom that snaps off and they tucked it in there, everyone that has installed it there has had their fog lights blow out within days by either too much water, the vibration or something.
Most kits should be vibration and water resistant now. So whatever kit they have are crap

Only thing I dont like about the XD is the extra wiring, when its supposed to be PNP.

i just had my XD 3000K fogs installed for about 120. i would have done it myself except that i had other work being done and i thought 120 was worth the time. unfortunately with the XD kit, the extra wiring is required. i tried plug and play but the fogs did not get enough juice to ignite. the other thing is that the extra wiring for the drivers side is not long enough to reach the battery. so my guy soldered the drivers side into the passenger side and ran it through to the battery. everything works like a charm and it looks spectacular. i have pictures, but they seriously dont do it justice.

I installed the fogs myself because why pay someone else to do it for you for such an easy job? I've had these in my fogs for about 3 months and has suffered through rain and still works perfectly. PNP kit from GP Thunder 8000k if anyone is wondering. Just had to mount the ballast and plug the blue connectors to the factory plug and you're good to go.

Oil stain not from the IS LOL

Thanks, but I changed them out to white now. BTW they're not my DRLs, those are my parking lights. The DRLs aren't on when your headlights are on.
