Default Me too ..

I was rear ended about 4 weeks ago. Just sitting at a stop light. I had not even gotten my plates yet, the car was that new.

Just a light tap, but enough to embed the other car ( a van actually ) license plate bolt into my bumper.

Well, it ended up being 1100 to fix. Not too bad, whole new bumber and a couple of days driving a crappy rental.

I feel for those of you that have even worse accidents.

I did get the name of a good tuner for Lexus from the body shop. Planning on suspension and wheels soon

Update - $8,600 in damages. Chance to actually increase slightly. Will take another 1-2 weeks to fix.

Maybe I'll scan the estimate in when I get the revision so everyone can see the details.

not when the quarter panel is damaged like that this is easy 6-8k. 1/4 panels are the most costly part of the body to replace

My wife picked me up with my car from the hospital parking and while she was about to reverse, the parking assist went off warning someone is coming close and closer to our rear end, so of course she horned the hell out of the other car...but that car kept on coming and coming "slowly" till it dented my top rear right and scratched off the bumper!

And now, I have to suffer of waiting for it to get fixed "10 days"....
