Default Car Won't Start

My IS won't start. The key is detected, the radio, A/C works but won't start. The brake pedal is jammed, engine light stays on. I just received the car on Friday (July 30, 2007). Did anyone have this problem? Any solutions?

Does the LED in the start switch turn green when you press the brake with the key in the car?

yeah what probably happened was that you pumped the brake pedal and it becomes stiff so you cant depress it far enough to start,so you have to press extra hard on brake pedal to activate push button

happened to me to, ended up just exiting the car, locking, unlocking, going back in and pressing on the brake pedal hard and pushed the ignition...

if you have the brake pedal not pushed hard enough when you hit ignition...seems the brake pedal locks up 1/2 way
