Did you put RainX on the car? RainX causes squeaky wipers...

Actually mine stay quiet although I have been putting on Rain-X since I got the car a year ago. I put rain-x on about once every 1 to 2 months. Rain-X is very niiiice.
As a suggestion, may be try cleaning the wiper rubber inserts. I give a good wipe every time I wash my car and a lot of grime comes off. Worth a try I guess. Good Luck.

why put rainx ? Our IS has water repellent front glass and it works great! at night when there is no light on the beads of water I dont even use the wipers.

I can def. tell when I have rain-x on and when I don't. Maybe I'm just a little crazy and OCD when it comes to rain-x . Most ppl prob wont be able to tell, but I just love the way rain-x works on the glass. Its been working well for me thats all I'm saying.

Nope, cant hear mine at all... Is there maybe something on your glass? Maybe a hardened substance? Water spots, maybe a waxing/filler something from teh dealership, anything? Does the glass feel smooth when cleaned? Have you tried any good glass cleaners on it like maybe Meguiars NXT Glass cleaner or something else?

My wipers are super quite but I have less than 500 miles, I hope it stays that way. I agree if you use any kind of that RainX stuff on the front it will cause wiper chatter.

RainX is good for the back window and sides only...but never the front.

I always take a damp clean rag with water on it and clean the wiper blades of crud that gets built up from daily driving, it gets the most out of your wipers. I do that regulary when I wash the car, just a habit.

Not sure about the OP but its not my wiper blades themselves. The loud noise im talking about is the windshield wiper motors it sounds like. The blades are quiet and dont squeak or chatter. Its the wiper motors themselves, if that makes sense.
