I think locale is an important variable as well. Seems like the IS is all over CA, yet here in the Northeast you really don't see many.

I see only a handful every week here in NJ. Certainly not commonplace. And when I do see one, it's an IS250 9 out of 10 times.

 

I got a lot of looks and compliments when I first got the car, mostly because I think a lot of people hadnt seen it before. Now I get comments once in a while, but it's usually more of a 'so how do you like your car?' as though they're interested in buying it themselves.
