I Need Your Opinion
Get a cheaper car, and spend the difference on track days to learn how to drive very fast with exceptional control. The money you spend learning to drive well will last you a lifetime. Unfortunately, none of the cars you want to buy will last anywhere near as long.
I would be ecstatic if my son proposed this to me.

g37: reasonable price, performance, sexiest body style, above average quality (definitely not cheap)
335i: brand image, performance and lots extra $$$ from your pocket
IS350: better fit and finish than Infiniti also more expensive plus small room for rear seats as a 4 door.

You can check the fit and finish by looking for things such as: interior ergonomic design, material used for handles and buttons, interior panel gap, assembly workmanship, exterior panel gap, small detail treatment, etc. In this department, Lexus is better than Infiniti.

If Infinity had made a better interior, there's a good chance I would be the owner of a G coupe right now instead of my IS350. When I sat in the G I got the impression that it was far too plasticy, cheap, and Nissan-like to be sold as a premium brand like Infinity. They need to differentiate more between the Nissan interiors and the Infiniti's. It's gotten better, but still needs work.

I ruled out the BMW b/c it would be too expensive, and I didn't want the damn I-Drive; I ruled out the Audi A4 because I didn't want a 4-banger engine. I drove the G35x and the IS250AWD. I loved the IS's styling and the quality of the leather and other interior materials was far superior, even though Infiniti has vastly improved this year (from all I've read). I chose the IS, even though the Infiniti dealer is far more convenient to where I live, and even though the back seat is way smaller than the G35's (I have small kids)--it all came down to an emotional decision. If you are on this forum, you are more likely to be an "enthusiast", and if so, no one else can tell you what's the best car for you.
Good luck.
do you honestly think that the lexus has better interior than the new infiniti design. Im still trying to decide but i kno they both have very very nice interior nothing compared to bmw. But i still cant come to a decsion on which interior is better. I kno infiniti's navi iss very nice not sure about lexus, and the infiniti set up i also think is very nice but not sure if nicer than lexus..
