Your licence plate frames (merged)
We all see pics of rims/dumps/lites/tint and monkeys, BUT when someone is behind you in traffic or when your leaving them in the dust they only see one thing, your lic plate frames. So... whats everyone got back there?
Sorry RAZR pic and had to use paint, still have to *cough*bt ps*cough*

But I just got the same frames as you, Evitzee.
Can't wait 'till my car gets fixed so I can put them on and take pics!
So far, they look good...even in the wrap.

Texas law prohibits any obstruction of the license plate. Sterling McCall seems to have complied.
I dislike this frame. I think the old one with the dealer name on the bottom and "Lexus" on the top looks much more classy.

I have a UC Davis Engineering Alumni frame for the back.. Aggie Pride! I'm not sure what I'll put in front though. I didn't want plates up front, but the car came delivered from the dealer with the front plate holes drilled already. The holes are really ugly if I leave the plate holder off. Anyone have a nice front plate place holder? Or a nice way to cover the holes?

Personally I absolutely refuse to use a license plate that advertises the dealer. They don't deserve free advertising, it clutters up the look, and they are usually cheaply made. The first thing I do is remove those frames and throw them in the trash. You are correct that TX prohibits the obstruction of the plate, but that is why the carbon fiber frame I use is so good. No bolts/screws showing, looks great, and no obstruction of any of the words or letters on the plate. They are not cheap, but hey, it's a Lexus.
